File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Access

To transfer files to your account, you will need an FTP client. Numerous FTP clients are avialable both as freeware and shareware around the web. You can find a listing with dozens of clients for Windows, Macintosh and other platforms at the TUCOWS web site.

Once you've downloaded the FTP client of your choice, you will enter your hostname, username and password in the appropriate preferences screen and login to your account. With most clients, uploading a file simply requires locating the file on your hard drive then clicking a button to transfer the file to the server.
