MySQL is a high-powered relational database that lets you perform many of the functions available in commercial databases like Oracle and Sybase. Once you've created a MySQL database and populated it with data, you can access that data from your web pages using PHP, Perl and Servlets. This overview teaches you the basics of creating a MySQL database table and accessing it to generate dynamic web pages using CGI. For a comprehensive overview of the MySQL syntax and available features, visit the MySQL Web Site.
Note: MMA technical support staff cannot provide troubleshooting of problems with third-party CGI scripts including but not limited to: Perl scripts, C/C++ binaries, PHP or web/database integration unless these services are specifically contracted. For these services, please see our Quote Request Form. |
